Prescription Verification
To best provide our customers care and service, we have implemented a prescription verification system that follows the Fairness to Contact Lens Consumer Law (FCLCA) and Rules for the customers. Under the FCLCA, we are required to verify your contact lens prescription.
We provide easy options to verify your contact lens prescription during checkout process as follows:
- Send your valid copy of the prescription to our customer service at info@kilalaeye.com.
- Or we can verify your prescription directly with your eye care professionals.
How Does the Process Work?
Option 1. Send us a copy of your prescription
- Please provide us a copy of your valid prescription written by eye care professionals. You can either scan or snap a picture of it.
- Once the prescription is recorded and approved by us, we will keep the record for you. You can check out anytime without the need to re-upload in the future. Providing an invalid or inaccurate prescription may result in order cancellation.
- Please send us your name, and picture/scan of your written prescription to our customer service at info@kilalaeye.com.
Option 2. Submit contact info of your eye care professional in below form
- Please provide us following information of your eye care professional/optometrist/optician: name, email address, and phone number (optional).
- We will contact your eye care professional to verify your prescription. Your eye care professional has 8 business hours to respond. If your eye care professional does not respond within the required time, your prescription is verified automatically, and we may process and ship your order.
